  • Raised Cap: From ₹5,000 to ₹10,000, the highest cap for Electronic Money Orders (EMOs) is now in effect.
  • New Declaration Checkbox: A mandatory declaration checkbox has been implemented during the appointment process for EMOs. This checkbox must be checked before users may advance with the payment process.

3. Changes in Parcel Services

  • Service Renaming:
    • Registered Parcel is now called India Post Parcel Retail.
    • Business Parcel is now India Post Parcel Contractual.
    • Pricing and tariff structures remain unchanged.

4. Introduction of Registered Postcard

Mail booking now includes a new service called Registered Postcard. Customers have an extra shipping option with a maximum weight restriction of 5 grammes.

5. Discontinuation of Certain Services

India Post has discontinued the following services:

  • Registered Printed Books
  • Registered Pattern & Sample Packet

6. Changes in Indian Postal Order (IPO) Denominations

  • Only four IPO denominations will now be available: ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, and ₹100.
